Customer Support Advisor


£8.50 - £9.50/Hour

Opal Recruitment are looking for a number of Temporary Customer Support Advisors for a well known client of ours based in Selby. The main purpose of the role will be to handle inbound and outbound calls to provide and gain missing information required by both the business and customers of the business.

Immediate Start Available (potential to go perm)

Salary £8.50 - £9.50/hour

Main Duties:

  • Follow structured guidelines and processes designed to support business users
  • Contact business users to gain missing information needed in time for deadlines
  • Professionally handle inbound and outbound calls, consistently delivering high levels of customer service
  • Handle customer enquiries via phone, letter and email
  • Maintain and update customer records
  • Data entry and data retrieval 
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure information is gathered in time for deadlines
  • Conduct customer surveys
  • General administration

Person Specification:

  • Previous customer service experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Highly organised
  • Proven written and numerical skills
  • Able to use MS Office programs 
  • Great attention to detail
