Customer Response Advisor



Opal Recruitment are looking for a number of Customer Response Advisor's for a client of ours based in Wakefield. Previous experience working within Customer Service is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have a good telephone manner and be a team player.

Pay rate £7.83/hour

PART TIME (10.00 - 14.00pm, Monday to Friday) FULL TIME (12.30 -21.00, Monday to Friday)

Main Duties:

  • Contact clients within agreed time scales to provide information and advice on claim procedure and company services
  • Accurately assess claims for liability and injury
  • Ensure up to date on company policies and procedures in order to deal with claims effectively and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional level of customer service to ensure the right business outcome is achieved
  • Arrange medical appointments
  • Outbound calls to new Legal Services Clients
  • Dealing with and resolving inbound enquiries (scripted)
  • Point of contact and support for new clients processing a claim
  • Completing claims notification forms on behalf of clients and third parties within agreed time frame
  • Working towards individual and team targets
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Person Specification:

  • Experience working with a customer service/customer care role, ideally call centre although not essential
  • Good numeric and literacy skills
  • Excellent time keeping skills
  • Flexible - able to work shifts
  • Team Player
  • Empathetic
  • Desire to pursue personal development
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Polite telephone manner
  • Robust
