Accounts Assistant (Part Time)



Opal recruitment are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant for our client based in Halifax. Reporting to the head of finance, this is an excellent role offering flexible 20 hours per week Monday to Friday. Working from modern offices with free on-site parking your role will be as follows;


A varied role within the Finance team completing a range of duties including:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Bank transaction processing & reconciliations
  • Analysis of large invoices eg Barclaycard, Mobile Phones, Premier Inn
  • Processing of legal cheques for debt collection
  • Allocation of customer receipts in bespoke IT system
  • Fleet administration (processing fines, new driver packs)
  • Fleet operations (turnaround of onsite vehicles - arrange repairs & valets, book hires etc)

Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Excel spreadsheets & basic formulas
  • Sage Accounts
  • Good communicator both verbally and in writing/e-mail
  • Ability to plan & manage own workload to meet deadlines
